Reality Show Filming & Appearance Release
The Asset, a San Antonio women's reality show, is an official production partner of National Latina Day San Antonio 2026. A live taping will be filmed on site during the Thursday, August 20 Spotlight Experience and the Friday, August 21 conference. This release explains what you are consenting to when you purchase a ticket and when you enter the venue. Please read it carefully before you buy.
Notice of Recording
Audio, video, and photography will be captured throughout the venue by the production team for The Asset and by National Latina Day's own media team. Cameras, boom microphones, lighting rigs, and crew will be present in general session rooms, the marketplace, the VIP lounge, hallways, and the Thursday evening Spotlight Experience. Areas actively being filmed will be posted with visible signage.
Grant of Rights
By purchasing a ticket, checking the consent box at checkout, or entering the venue, you grant National Latina Day, Renova Rise 365, The Asset production company, and their respective licensees, successors, assigns, distributors, broadcasters, streaming platforms, and sponsors the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free, fully paid, sublicensable, and transferable right and license to photograph, film, videotape, and record your name, image, voice, likeness, statements, performance, biographical information, and appearance, and to reproduce, edit, exhibit, broadcast, stream, distribute, and otherwise use those recordings, in whole or in part, alone or with other material, in the series and in any promotion, marketing, trailer, clip, social media post, press use, sponsor reporting, recap, archive, or derivative work, in any and all media now known or later developed.
Editing and Creative Control
You understand the recordings may be edited, cropped, altered, dubbed, captioned, distorted, composited, or used out of context at the sole discretion of the producers, and that the final program may portray you in a manner you did not anticipate. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the use to which it is put.
No Compensation
You acknowledge you are not entitled to and will not receive any payment, royalty, residual, credit, or other compensation for the recording or for any use of it, now or in the future. You are not an employee of the production and this release does not create a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship.
Waiver of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, you release and hold harmless National Latina Day, Renova Rise 365, The Asset production company, the venue, and their officers, employees, contractors, sponsors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, damages, causes of action, or liability arising out of the recording or its use, including claims for defamation, libel, slander, false light, invasion of privacy, misappropriation of name or likeness, right of publicity, infliction of emotional distress, copyright, or breach of confidentiality.
Your Right to Opt Out
Consent to appear on camera is not required to attend. If you prefer not to appear, request an opt out wristband and lanyard marker at check in, avoid areas posted as active filming zones, and use the designated non filming seating and lounge areas. Crew will make commercially reasonable efforts to exclude marked guests from featured footage. Because this is a live event with wide crowd and stage coverage, incidental appearance in wide shots, crowd shots, and audience reactions cannot be guaranteed to be excluded and is not a breach of this policy.
Individually Featured Participation
If you are invited to sit for an interview, appear in a scene, or be individually featured, you will be asked to sign a separate written appearance release specific to that footage before filming. Signing that separate release is voluntary.
Minors
Guests under 18 may not be individually featured without the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must be present and ticketed. A parent or guardian who brings a minor to the event accepts this release on the minor's behalf for incidental and crowd footage.
Third Party Content and Personal Recording
Personal photos and short clips for social sharing are welcome. Recording, livestreaming, or commercially exploiting the reality show taping, cast performances, or full conference sessions is prohibited without written permission from the producers.
Privacy and Data
Footage that identifies you is handled in line with our Privacy Policy. Because this release is a contractual grant of rights, a later request to delete personal data does not withdraw the license to footage already recorded and used or scheduled for use in the series.
Entire Agreement and Governing Law
This release is the entire agreement between you and the producers regarding recording at the event, supersedes any prior understanding, and is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, with venue in Bexar County, Texas. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force. You confirm you are at least 18 years of age, have read this release, and sign or accept it freely.
