Volunteer Terms
Volunteers are the backbone of National Latina Day. These terms set expectations for anyone serving on the team.
Role & Schedule
Volunteer shifts, roles, and reporting times are assigned in advance. Arriving on time and completing your shift keeps the entire experience running.
No Employment Relationship
Volunteering is unpaid and does not create an employment relationship, and does not entitle a volunteer to wages, benefits, or workers compensation.
Conduct & Confidentiality
Volunteers follow the Code of Conduct and keep attendee, speaker, and sponsor information confidential. Attendee contact data may never be used for personal outreach.
Access
Volunteer credentials grant access only to assigned areas. Volunteer status does not include ticketed attendee benefits unless stated in writing.
